Assistant Director of Security

To assist the Director of Security in the effective administration of the hotel and its outlets safety and security, accident and theft prevention, working with Talent & Culture in all investigations, emergency/disaster planning, fire and earthquake safety, and security personnel management.

What you will be doing:

Reporting to the Director of Security, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Assist the Director of Safety & Security with daily operations of the security department including the scheduling and delegation of tasks for security personnel.
• Assist with the preparation and administers operating budget for security department.
• Assist with the development of departmental policies and standards of operation to ensure a safe and secure environment for guests, vendors, staff and surrounding areas.
• Develops training programs for security personnel that ensure policies are enforced and that supports growth and continual improvement of team members.

Your experience and skills include:

• Must have minimum of 3 years previous experience as a police officer, military police officer or security management
• Lifting more than 25 pounds is unusual, but extensive walking and climbing stairs is not.
• May be required to stand or walk on a consistent basis during a work shift
