Internship Snapshot: The Internship Program with WPS Health Solutions has 3 parts. First and foremost, you will get real world experience. No getting coffee here. Your role will make a difference in the company. You will learn what it takes to be successful in your chosen career path. Secondly, you will gain exposure to corporate culture, intern comradery, and training to aid in future career successes: LinkedIn, resume review, happy hours, intern virtual game nights, mock interviews, corporate leadership meet and greets and much more. Lastly, interns will collaborate on the "Pay-It-Forward Project" - the development of a resource to be utilized for future program participants or to advance major company initiatives. At the conclusion of the program, interns will participate in a final presentation for senior executives by showcasing their abilities and experience throughout the summer. Sound worthwhile yet?

What would I do in this role?



  • Under direct supervision of professional staff, provide entry-level professional Human Resources support services through the People Resource Center.

    • Support the Employee Experience by answering or escalating employee questions.

    • Participate in improving procedures and work flows related to Human Resources.

    • Process employee data changes in the Human Resources Information System.

    • Protect systems and data according to compliance and security requirements.



  • Participate in the planning and implementation of an assigned summer project.

  • Use acquired knowledge and skills to carry out and complete project activities.

Minimum Qualifications:



  • Be a recent graduate or currently pursuing a degree in higher education

  • Have experience with Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

  • Pursuing a degree related to Human Resources
