Architect Designer

Huitt-Zollars' Denver, Colorado Office has a full-time opportunity for an Architect Designer. The successful candidate is one who is committed to high quality design, sustainable architecture design practices, an enthusiastic, self-starter with a desire for learning and a collaborative spirit.

Responsibilities

Prepare Architectural plans for projects focused on transportation, transit, and other facilities
• Perform analysis of design and construction systems, equipment programing, planning studies, design layouts and construction details


• Conduct site and construction inspections for information-gathering purposes, preparing interpretive reports


• Execute code analysis, material selections, and technical solutions


• Analyze design and construction systems, design layouts and construction features, which require researching, compiling and recording information for assigned project work

Requirements

• Professional Degree in Architecture (B. Arch or M. Arch preferred)


• Minimum of 5 years of experience with Architecture Design


• Registered Licensed Architect or ability to obtain license in 1 year


• Experience in the transportation sector is preferred but not required


• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite


• Experience in Rhino, 3-D Max, Sketch-up is a plus and LEED Accreditation is also a plus
