Position Summary: The label creator will create labels for all HBI product lines processed using warehouse management systems. Label creator will participate in physical inventories, and assigning product to locations through label production.

Major Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

• -Create labels for the proper product line using the warehouse management system


• -Associate is responsible for verifying quality control has been completed before creating labels.


• -Label creator must proof labels they have created against paperwork on cases/pallets


• -Label maker is responsible for notifying management if there are concerns BEFORE creating label, and reporting any errors or discrepancies that have occurred when creating labels as this creates customer credit and inventory.


• -Responsible for organization and keeping the process flowing in their area


• -Must communicate with the forklift driver/shipper to have pallets move to shipping lane once completed


• Some knowledge of Excel, Word, PKMS, KERPS, and SAP

Minimum Requirements:

• High School diploma preferred or its equivalent; or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to complete the responsibilities of this position.


• Working knowledge of computers


• Ability to work under time pressure and meet production goals 


• Ability to assist other operations within the warehouse, as needed and if applicable  


• Ability to be a team player and understand how important their role is in the process


• Ability to be punctual and continuously present


• Ability to work overtime on Friday or Saturday if needed


• Ability to meet set production and quality goals and follow standard operating and safety procedures


• Ability to work with hazardous waste


• Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment
