Position Summary:


 



The Sr. HRIS Analyst key responsibilities are focused on support for various HR Systems and processes. This includes providing technical support for AutoNation’s HR Systems, as well as providing reporting and analytical support for all areas of HR operations. This includes, but is not limited to, HR Operations, Recruiting and pre-employment processes, HR compliance, Compensation and Talent Management processes.



 



Organizational Relationships:



This position will interact with all levels in the organization to support associates, peers and executives, as well as take part in group discussions and presentations.  It requires ability to ascertain individual end-user and business needs, and the ability to communicate with people that have varying levels of technical expertise.  This position will also interact with vendors and consultants.



 



This role reports within the Corporate HR Technology team directly to the Sr. Manager, HR Technology and will be onsite in our beautiful building in Fort Lauderdale.



 



Job Responsibilities:




  1. Provide support and training to Corporate, Region, Shared Service Center and retail staff regarding HR Systems and processes.


  2. Provide support for HR Systems including, but not limited to, researching, resolving, escalating, and monitoring issues/problems and interacting with system vendors as appropriate.


  3. Act as escalation for HR Shared Services Team regarding questions or issues that are system-related, and working with third party vendor to resolve issues (Background/Drug Screening, ATS, I9 Verification, Unemployment, HRC Maintenance Tool)


  4. Manage HR system set-up and configuration including: new locations, pay groups, department ID, business title, job code, etc. As well as user interface/dashboard views.  This includes set-up in the various HR systems and notifying vendors to ensure all set-ups are done accurately and timely.


  5. Manage job code set ups: working with business owners on system accesses requirements, Compensation team on pay plan/method, Field Ops on Reporting job groups, create job code in all applicable systems and notify stakeholders.


  6. Manage monthly and annual background screening processes.


  7. Provide support on HR System maintenance (data integrity, audits, etc.) to ensure integrity of internal database files and tables.


  8. Assist with Data Security setup and support for various HR Systems. Create security roles, groups, assign appropriate user access.


  9. Manage process to integrate all new acquisitions and add-points into Payroll/HRIS, ATS and Talent Management systems and remove Divestitures and Terminations of franchises


  10. Assist in the review, testing and implementation of HR System upgrades or patches.


  11. Generate, configure, validate and distribute key weekly, monthly, and quarterly HR Reporting and assist in development of standard and ad-hoc reports for ongoing user needs.


  12. Manage annual EEO Reporting.


  13. Manage new hire paperwork packages and documents to ensure Associates are receiving the correct documents. Also work with Legal, HR and Operations Teams to make appropriate document updates as required.


  14. Lead special HR Technology Projects and Support HR Technology Department initiatives.


  15. Serve as SME and back-up for other HR Technology Members.



Qualifications:






    1. Must meet company’s requirements for employment.


    2. Bachelor’s degree in human resources or information systems preferred.


    3. 2+ years progressive experience with integrated HR systems required.


    4. Experience using iCIMS, ADP Enterprise, or Cornerstone strongly preferred but not required.


    5. Microsoft Office: Advanced Microsoft Office skills.


    6. Proficiency with PowerBi or other analytics tools.


    7. Ability to work independently but remain a cohesive and cooperative member of the HR Technology Team and adjust to multiple tasks and demands and constantly shifting priorities under tight deadlines and time constraints.


    8. Understanding of Recruiting, Talent Management and HR concepts, policies and procedures and admin procedures.


    9. Interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, including the ability to train end users and facilitate meetings.


    10. Ability to communicate with varying levels of management, as well as people with varying levels of technical expertise.


    11. Detail oriented, highly analytical, and innovative.


    12. Customer Service Focused.


    13. Strong organizational skills combined with successful time management and prioritization skills.
