Responsible for collaboration with various departments to manage efficient flow of material and responsible for various duties within the Quality function such as coordinating purge activities and material quarantine. Coordinate with departments to ensure efficient movement of materials and evaluate materials released from quarantine to ensure accountability for all materials. Duties include but not limited to:
Interprets engineering drawings, schematic diagrams or formulas and confers with management or engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standards.
Selects products for audits at specified stages in the production or post-production process, and tests products for variety of qualities such as dimensions, performance and/or mechanical.
Records audit data, applying statistical quality control procedures.
Evaluates data and writes reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards.
Prepares graphs or charts of data or enters data into computer for analysis.
Download quality information from quality system to be used for QA reports.
Provides support to identify and resolve issues associated with parts, materials and manufacturing, may be required to perform receiving inspection.
Coordinates and expedites flow of quarantine materials, parts, and assemblies between departments, according to Nonconforming Material processes, and compiles and maintains manual or computerized records: Reviews nonconforming material reports and related information and confers with Quality Engineering to determine material quarantine requirements and to track material.
Locates and identifies material and transfers to secure areas for quarantine, according to nonconforming material reports.
Supports examination of material delivered to quarantine to evaluate conformance to specifications.
Arranges in-plant transfer of materials.
Compiles and maintains manual or computerized records, such as material inventory, in-process production reports, and status and location of materials.
Prioritizes data entry activities.
Creates, updates, executes and analyzes reports.
Gathers data, tracks, posts and pitches for action plans and root analysis
May move or transport materials from one department to another, manually or using any material handling equipment.
May arrange for repair and assembly of material or part.
Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
1 - 2 experience on similar role;
High School or GED;
ERP system;
Demonstrated ability to communicate with all levels of the Organization and ensure collaboration;
Ability to resolve issues;
Excellent excel skills; and
Capable of tracking parts/material.
