Job Description:

Directs and coordinates operations in one or more areas of the plant. Ensures that objectives are achieved consistent with customer and quality requirements. Reports to the Plant Manager. Delegates authority to key supervisors.


  • Works with across functional groups and leads personnel to ensure all safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and efficiency goals are met for plant operations.

  • Monitors people and training to ensure process compliance, throughput, and accuracy.

  • Manages and oversees the reporting of all necessary data to ensure that day-to-day activities are repeatable and in line with safety, quality, and operational objectives.

  • Support and/or lead continuous improvement projects to support tkSCS with an ongoing focus on lean principles, efficiency improvements, and cost reductions.

  • Work with the Plant Manager to establish goals, develop KPIs, and direct operational output.

  • Hire, train, motivate, and discipline warehouse employees if requested or as required.

  • Communicates, monitors, maintains and promotes safety initiatives and goals


Key Accountabilities:
  • Ensures daily production is planned and managed.
  • Ensures Preventative Maintenance program is robust and adhered to.
  • Supports work to attain operational efficiency goals.
  • Supports work to attain quality objectives.
  • Communicates well with customers and employees.
  • Manages company resources thoughtfully.
  • Complies with all Company policies, and laws.
  • Maintains good housekeeping in all operational areas.

    • Attitude and aptitude for teamwork

    • Proven experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment

    • 3-5 years' experience in Continuous Improvement including Six Sigma certification

    • 3-5 years' experience in automotive production

    • Strong Project Management Skills

    • Education BS Operations Management, Engineering, or related field.

    • 5 plus experience in a Supervisory or Management position
