This position is eligible for remote work at the present time.The arrangement may be delayed for training or other job acclimation purposes and remains subject to change.

Your Responsibilities

As an HR Integration Lead for John Deere Construction & Forestry, you will d evelop, lead and execute the HR integration plan for the recently announced Deere acquisition of the Kernersville, NC Deere-Hitachi joint venture. In addition, you will:


  • The primary focus of the work will be for the Kernersville, NC location, with strong connection and collaboration with other locations. 30-50% travel is required to the Kernersville location.
  • Partner with key HR and business stakeholders to allow for open communication regarding project status, issues, and key decisions throughout the integration timeline.
  • Evaluate and gather data, information, and feedback from the organization to assess and identify integration needs that will enhance the employee experience, culture, and performance of the organization. Understanding the current culture, engagement and environment will be critical to help support a successful integration plan.

What Skills You Need


  • 4 or more years of demonstrated experience managing a high volume of project/program management or high-volume work, both strategic and tactical, with competing priorities
  • 4 or more years of experience operating with high levels of ambiguity, with a bias for action and able to gather and interpret data to make strategic decisions
  • Highly organized, able to prioritize and work under pressure on multiple projects at the same time
  • Excellent communicator, keeping key stakeholders informed and aligned on the plan throughout the process
  • Collaborative team player with a strong drive to create a positive John Deere employee experience
  • Leadership, influence, and teamwork skills
  • Expert at influencing without authority and navigating complex stakeholder environments to drive results
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
  • You must be solutions-focused, forward-thinking, and bring a positive vibe to influence change
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 50%

What Makes You Stand Out


  • Functional knowledge of HR, including HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Benefits, Learning & Development, Performance Management, Employee Relations, Workforce Optimization, and HR Reporting preferred
  • Established working relationships with HR CoEs
  • If no HR experience then a demonstrated commitment to improving the employee experience, positive change, diversity, and inclusion
  • Change management experience
  • Experience or knowledge of the Construction & Forestry division
  • Experience working or supporting a factory operation
  • Experience as a people leader of salaried or production employees
  • Experience working with L3, L4, and L5 leadership
  • Global acumen and experience working with diverse and global teams

Education

Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:


  • Bachelor's Degree (any major)
