Role: Model N (Techno functional)

Work experience required: 5 -15 years

Skill set: Model N, Pl/Sql/Unix

Must have skill:


  • Good experience working with Model N (Commercial & Government pricing systems)

  • Model N RM/ Model N GP and/or Revitas Classic GP / Revitas Flex /Product Experience 

  • Sound Knowledge of Chargebacks, Rebates, Contracts, Products, Customers, Membership modules

  • Experience with EDI 844, EDI845 & EDI849 etc.

  • Experience with Managed Care module with hands on Rebates and Admin Fee processing

  • Experience with Medicaid module and good understanding of FCP, 340B etc.

  • Sound knowledge of domain and transactional data elements input for GP calculations 

  • Knowledge of GP calculation price types and calculation methodology 

  • Reporting experience- Reconciliation reports, calculation reports (analysis, summary detailed, component, submission) 

  • Working experience on GP policies, alerts 

  • Hands-on on business requirements gathering and analysis. Able to conduct customer workshops for requirement clarifications. 

  • Review design functional Spec and test cases 

  • Hands on knowledge of Oracle, PL/SQL, XML, Unix scripting 

  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with full MS office products 

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 

  • Strong knowledge of business protocol, time management and organizational skills 

  • Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skills with the ability to “think on his/her feet” and suggest alternatives and solutions

  • Must be able to multitask and able to work with team, guide and lead the offshore team.

  • Experience working with Life Sciences customers

  • Experience working with high end technology product development environment

Responsibilities:


  • Manages, organizes, mentors, motivates, and delegates tasks to a team of talented professionals.

  • Design and code high quality deliverables adhering to defined standards and design principles

  • Create unit tests and ensure code coverage is met as per the agreed standards

  • Proactive customer communication will be one of the key factors.

  • Assumes responsibility for the quality and timeliness of the team’s deliverables.

  • Provide Java and database-based solutions by studying existing technology architecture; analyzing browser compatibility techniques; evaluating solution alternatives; developing prototypes; and writing detailed technical requirements.

  • Fosters a culture of continuous improvement in all areas of technology and instills the principles of this culture in a team.

  • Ensures that teams have appropriate product and technical specifications, direction, and resources to deliver products effectively by establishing realistic estimates for timelines while ensuring that projects remain on target to meet deadlines.

  • Provides detailed and timely status updates to management.

  • Helps establish and enhance development policies, procedures, and standards and enforces their implementation upon their team of developers.

  • Maintains technical knowledge and understanding of the latest development methodologies and best practices by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.

  • Ensures quality and consistency throughout the architecture and implementation of the code base.

  • Acts as a highly competent advisor to their manager, leads and team
