All employees must wear safety glasses at all times. (Non-prescription safety glasses will be provided by Indiana Furniture.) Hearing protection and work gloves are available upon request. Individuals accepting job assignments with Indiana Furniture must be able to work during scheduled work hours on a regular basis.
Whitewood Sander must be able to perform the following essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations:

Hand sand units in the white wood (unfinished) state. Able to do minor repairs in the white wood state.
Push/Pull products on the line 34-66% of the workday.
Lift 20 to 50 pounds daily.
Ability to use an orbital sander as well as a hand sander.
Simple grasping of tools and products 67-100% of the workday.
Firm grasping of tools and products 67-100% of the workday.
Standing 67-100% of the workday.
Bending from the waist 67-100% of the workday.
Reaching 67-100% of the workday.
Frequent vibration and constant side-to-side of hand and arm may be required.
Good eye for detail is required.
Ability to work alone.
