Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

Efficiently and accurately receive incoming freight
Report purchase order discrepancies
Create purchase orders when needed
Responsible for unloading carriers
Sort and stage incoming freight on U-boats
Ensure that receiving is maintained in a neat, clean, and organized manner
Foster a safe and productive work environment
Diligent in protecting company assets
Follow all SOP guidelines and company policies
Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

Must be sixteen years of age or over
Basic Computer Knowledge
Reading, Comprehension and Writing Skills

Preferred Qualifications

High school Diploma or equivalent
Previous retail experience

Familiar with safety protocols
Knowledge of inventory control and loss prevention

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing. The position does require frequent lifting of merchandise. It is expected that the employee lift safely, using proper body mechanics and lifting devices. When lifting heavy items, up to 50 pounds, a team lift may be required.
