IT Project Manager at Arhaus

Job Description:

The IT Project Manager is responsible for leading and organizing all activities pertaining to projects facilitated through the Arhaus Project Management Office. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: business analysis, documenting processes, detailed requirements and functional design, testing and support, project schedules, and timelines.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Identify, communicate and assign tasks with project resources

  • Document business needs and communicates requirements to the IT technical team.

  • Manage vendor relationships and expectations

  • Support business partners in resolving issues that arise from day-to-day operational activities.

  • Ability to plan and manage workload, commitments, and schedules across multiple projects.

  • Contribute to test planning and quality assurance processes, user training coordination, change management documentation as well as support post-launch stabilization efforts.                                                              

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 


To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each job duty satisfactorily, have an analytical way of thinking, and be able to explain difficult concepts to non-technical users. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required. 



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science or related field or a minimum of 2-5 years related experience, or Project Management Certifications

  • Experience in an IT environment is a plus and possess the ability to assimilate and understand technology concepts

  • Retail, eCommerce, ERP, CRM, or Supply Chain system experience is preferred

  • Able to establish strong relationships and liaise with business partners in order to provide technical solutions to meet their needs

  • Experience in gathering, documenting, and organizing business requirements

  • Experience with a Matrix Organizational Structure

  • Ability to advocate for business partner(s) and procure technical assistance to help in problem resolution as required

  • Strong presentation skills and must be very detail-oriented

  • Highly motivated team player and self-starter

  • Excellent organizational problem solving and time management skills are required

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills

  • Working knowledge of MS Office, Visio (or alternate process flow tool)

  • Ability to work in an unstructured, fast-paced environment
