Position: Oracle Cloud Test Lead

If you are a proven and sophisticated Oracle cloud ERP program management consultant with experience in leading conference room pilots and/or overall program management with Oracle CPQ, SCM and Finance modules this is a unique opportunity to make a significant strategic impact on a fast-growing market leader on fit for purpose global data center platforms and connectivity solutions. The individual in this role will work closely with ERP functional, technical and business owners to support product life cycle deployment and to play the advisory role and bring in best practices to rollout key milestones during the project life cycle.
The Requirements To meet the basic qualification for this role, you will have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship. In addition, to be a good fit for this opportunity, you will have:
Required experience and sound knowledge of business processes bounded to Oracle Cloud modules like CPQ, SCM and finance and accounting applications
Experience in leading implementation projects and various testing events
Experience with Oracle functional implementation as a solution architect/SCM/finance lead
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Self-motivated and able to plan work effort and manage priorities.
The Role
The Oracle ERP Test Manager provides expertise in release management and leading various program delivery and testing activities from start to finish for each milestone. Responsibilities include technology/tool assistance and coordination with Business teams, ensuring that all functional activities are aligned with the business goals and timelines.
Work closely with the business owners and technical leads to gather requirements and set the expectation for each testing events
Proven experience in leading various testing events (CRP or SIT/SAT/UAT) and managed overlapping schedules.
Clearly articulate entrance and exit criteria for each testing cycle and a good negotiation skill to influence how the exit and entrance criteria should be planned.
Assist with testing workshops and functional process workshops during E2E sessions
Knowledge to understand business requirements and map them to the Oracle Application functionalities for fit gap analysis to support delivery schedules.
Ability to review and understand testing scenarios and test scripts.
Ability to lead triage calls and status meetings
Provide status and issue reports to the Project stakeholders on a regular basis
Working with the team to develop testing plan and organizing and controlling the testing process
Ensure traceability, and control of testing process to deliver high quality
Coordinate and manage with core test team aligning resources for system integration test, system application test and user acceptance test
Coordinate testing activities with functional and technical leads
Ability to quickly act on finalizing logistics for each testing event such as schedules, space (if in person) and collaboration tool logistics and co-ordination
Sound knowledge and experience in using collaboration tools like JIRA, Confluence and Zephyr
Have demonstrated setting up various test cycles in Zephyr and spin off custom dashboards to report the status of various test cycles.
Monitor the defects and assign them to resources as appropriate
Manage defect resolution within project collaboration space
Monitor and report on the status of testing events and communicate to the project team
Assist and monitor execution of go-live checklists by team members
Track go-live execution activities, deployment plan and adjust schedules and tasks as necessary
Ensure necessary schedule availability for go-live for themselves and the project team members needed for the activities before, during and after go-live
Report on status of go-live activities regularly
