Sponsorship Strategy:


  • Ability to build out sponsorship and activation strategy framework

  • Develop deep understanding of Prudential’s business and marketing needs to deliver confident recommendations that engage and inspire

  • Knowledge of social and branded content best practices, trends and understands ways to meaningfully incorporate into executions

  • Create a constant stream of insights and thought starters through thoughtful analysis of business/brand, category, consumer and cultural trends that highlights opportunities for Prudential and inform actionable experiential activations 

  • Provide strategic multicultural guidance

  • Participate in, and contribute to, brainstorm discussions to identify tactics that effectively communicate with target audiences and support strategy

  • Collaborate with Sponsorship team on internal briefing development, research and reporting

  • Show initiative and add value throughout projects and across various marketing teams

  • Proven success in working on purpose-drive campaigns and sponsorship initiatives

  • Assist with the setup of sponsorship proposal intake technology to select new partners: creating questionnaires, developing criteria and reporting model

  • Participate in RFP creation and responses

  • Create data-driven point-of-view evaluations and overall recommendations on potential partnerships

Enterprise-wide Sponsorship Strategy Support:


  • Contribute to and support Prudential’s sponsorship strategy development across the enterprise

  • Forge strong working partnerships with key cross-functional stakeholders that can include internal Brand, Marketing, Creative, Inclusive Solutions, Corporate Communications and Analytics teams to complete cross-team projects successfully

Measurement / Performance:


  • Ability to conceptualize and execute analytical approaches to sponsorship measurement

  • Collaborate with Vice President and Director Corporate Sponsorship in creating an on-going performance model to assess the effectiveness and impact of current partnership

  • Develop and deliver insightful analysis around event and overall sponsorship performance to drive optimization and negotiation / renewal conversations

  • Create and present weekly, monthly and quarterly reports

Qualifications:


  • A minimum of 5-7 years relevant marketing, agency or sponsorship strategy experience

  • A minimum 3-4 years working on multicultural brands or campaigns

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent work experience

  • Proficient at communicating objectives, and guiding peers to successful resolutions

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to handle several projects at a time, at various stages of progress

  • Experience with market research tools and data with skills to translate into insights and business narratives

  • Proven marketing success in creating new sponsorship platforms to support brand and business objectives

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate clearly and effectively with senior level stakeholders

  • Experience in developing creative sponsorship strategies and presentations including, but not limited to, an eye for design and understanding how to communicate visually

  • Be curious, with a thirst for understanding human behavior and the influences that shape consumer choice

  • Knowledge of social/digital media marketing is ideal

  • Ability to work in a virtual environment

  • Some travel will be required once travel restrictions are lifted and we return to in person events

  • Proactive self-starter with ownership mentality

  • Out-of-the-box thinking to grow brand awareness and affinity
