Job Description:

The Lead SharePoint Developer shall lead a team of developers on new SharePoint applications development as well as enhancing and supporting existing SharePoint sites using Agile and SharePoint best practices. This individual shall demonstrate extensive knowledge of SharePoint and proven success in designing, implementing and contributing as a functional team member on client consultations. The Lead will work with Project Managers, Analysts and end users to help develop requirements into stories which the Developers can work on. This individual is also responsible for designing and presenting solutions to the business problems.

Responsibilities include:


  • Design and develop SharePoint standard and custom lists, forms, content types and interfaces to include layouts, branding, banners, templates, analytics and reporting.

  • Develop custom applications focusing on complex workflows and logic within SharePoint applications.

  • Proactively engaging with clients to identify challenges, recommend solutions and manage expectations

  • Providing development guidance to more junior developers and assisting them with developing complex designs as needed

  • Develop and maintain technical design artifacts, document configurations, and code standards for client environments
























Required Experience

  • Must possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills as well as interpersonal, problem-solving and organizational skills.

  • 5-7 years Microsoft SharePoint Developer / Designer experience

  • 3-5 years Microsoft SharePoint 2013, 2016, Office365

  • 3-5 years HTML5, CSS/CSS3

  • 3 years JavaScript, jQuery, AngularJS

  • 1-2 years in a lead or senior developer role

  • 1-2 years Microsoft Office365

  • 1-2 years designing software applications using an Agile/SCRUM Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from requirements analysis through testing and deployment


Preferred Experience

  • 2-3 years InfoPath 2013 or Nintex/K2 forms tools.

  • 1-year Microsoft Business Intelligence and Reporting Tools

  • Web design/development (e.g., HTML / CSS / jQuery / JavaScript) experience

  • Tableau Server (Dashboards, BI, Data Analytics)


Education Required

  • Bachelor's plus 5 to 7 years relevant experience required


Security Clearance Requirement

  • Successful completion of Public Trust\HSPD-12 PIV process and BEP background check.
