Navarro Research and Engineering, Inc. is recruiting for a Site Maintenance Technician in Denver, Colorado.

This position will work at the Rocky Mountain Arsenal under an OSHA VPP Star Site. This position offers excellent pay (based on experience) and benefit package.

This person will perform varied tasks in a safety-minded environment, including but not limited to, repair and maintenance of facility infrastructure (plumbing, landscaping, carpentry), general construction labor, operation of power tools, vehicle and equipment fleet maintenance and repair, and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• HS diploma or GED.
• At least two years of work experience, preferably in an outdoor environment.
• Excellent customer service attitude and skills.
• Excellent communication skills written and verbal.
• Positive attitude/High Integrity.
• Ability to learn and train to use various kinds of tools and equipment
• Ability to operate heavy equipment a plus (backhoe, forklift, front end loader, excavator).
• CDL license also a plus, but not required.
• Lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Work successfully as a team.
• Ability to understand and follow directions with moderate supervision.
• Self-motivated.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Standard four - ten hour day work week with occasional overtime, as needed.
