Essential Functions

  1. Observance of all safety rules and policies maintained by the company

  2. Maintenance of raw material inventory (coatings, supplies, etc.)

  3. Movement of product into and through coating station

  4. Preparation, maintenance, and repair of all coating equipment

  5. Coating of products through approved procedures and using appropriate materials and protective devices

  6. Movement of products to drying area

  7. Rotation of position within team structure as necessary

  8. Assistance in repair work as necessary

  9. Maintenance of good housekeeping practices at all times

  3. Must be able to read and process written communication including, but notlimited to, work orders, frame prints, and measurements;

  7. Must be able to rotate to other production positions as the need arises or as is deemed necessary;

  8. Must be able to operate appropriate equipment including coating gums, pumps, compressors, heating units, tape measures, etc.;

  9. Must be able to physically lift and maneuver weights in excess of fifty pounds;

  10. Must possess successful problem solving skills;

  11. Must be able to exhibit tact and diplomacy and maintain professional relationships

  12. with supervisors, fellow employees, customers, etc.;

  13. Must be able to work under physically and mentally stressful situations;

  14. Must be able to prioritize and easily adapt to changes through the day.

Supervisory Responsibility

This role does not have any supervisory responsibility upon hiring.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires 98% standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling. The employee may have to lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. This position requires Personal Protective Equipment. Protective Equipment supplied by the company includes: Coating suit, Coating Boots, Spray Socks, Respirator, Work Gloves, Safety Glasses and Ear Plugs. Employees may be required to provide additional Protective Equipment (Safety Shoes, etc.).

This is a full-time hourly position

No travel is expected for this position.

Required Education and Experience

  1. High school diploma or equivalent required.

Preferred Education and Experience

  1. Lift Truck Operators License preferred (training available).
