JOB SUMMARY

The Vice President, Biostatistics and Operations is a high visibility leader, responsible for integrating the strategic plan of the company with the management and oversight of operations to drive profitability, direct strategic improvement projects and standardize processes for workflow efficiency and optimization. This includes developing the organization to scale in capability and capacity to support growth. A key success factor for this role is the establishment and growth of client relationships as measured by achieving high client satisfaction and earning repeat and/or expanded business. The Vice President, Biostatistics and Operations will leverage WCG shared services functions, such as Business Development, Human Capital Management, Finance and Compliance to achieve business results.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

* Master's degree in Statistics or related field required; PhD preferred

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 15 years of operational leadership experience, with a proven track record of managing complex projects, teams and driving business results by achieving high client satisfaction and earning repeat business, in the clinical trials industry


• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with proven ability to provide vision, direction and motivation to staff


• Ability to consult on Biostatistics client-facing projects


• Ability to focus simultaneously on systems, process improvement, quality, compliance and management measures, work culture enhancement and internal communications while driving business growth


• Strong analytical skills to develop, track and hold others accountable to deliver key metrics, including productivity, turnaround time, resource management and budget/expense management


• Self-driven, motivated and results-oriented

• Consult on client projects in biostatistics and programming as needed.


• Develop and implement innovative solutions in biostatistics and programming in performing EAC and DMC across the Scientific & Regulatory Review division.


• Organize and grow the capability and capacity of the team to deliver value to a broader array of clinical trial clients.


• Develop and foster effective relationships and collaboration across the organization to ensure an integrated approach in client engagement and delivery.


• Engage and lead staff across all operational functions; encourage the open exchange of ideas at all levels and across all functions to foster a strong team-oriented environment.


• Represent the company with key customers and partners.
