Position Summary:



The HR Technology Administrator’s key responsibilities are focused on support for various HR Systems and processes. This includes providing technical support for AutoNation’s HR Systems, as well as providing reporting and analytical support for all areas of HR operations. This includes, but is not limited to, Recruiting, and pre-employment and onboarding processes, HR compliance, Compensation, Learning Management and Talent Management processes.



 



Organizational Relationships:



This position will interact with all levels in the organization to support associates, peers and executives, as well as take part in group discussions and presentations. It requires ability to ascertain individual end-user and business needs, and the ability to communicate with people that have varying levels of technical expertise. This position will also interact with the IT dept, vendors and consultants.



 



This role reports within the Corporate HR Technology team and will be onsite in our beautiful building in Fort Lauderdale.



 



Job Responsibilities:




  1. Manage HR Technology shared inboxes and helpdesk queue, and provide support for HR Systems including, but not limited to, researching, resolving, escalating, and monitoring issues/problems and interacting with system vendors as appropriate.


  2. Key point of contact for HR Shared Services Team on the pre-employment process, including communication of changes, updates, and system issues.


  3. Create and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly recurring reports for internal departments and external vendors.


  4. Assist with HR system set-up for new locations, pay groups, job codes, department ID, business title, etc. This includes set-up in the various HR systems and notifying vendors to ensure all set-up are done accurately and timely.


  5. Manage daily integrations/data feeds between different HR Systems to ensure accuracy and no errors/issues arise (Vibe, iCims, ADP Enterprise, Cornerstone On Demand, etc.).


  6. Maintain key HR, Payroll and store contacts in HR System and distribute Contact List to key roles in the company.


  7. Create and maintain Corporate and Region Office staff Org Charts.


  8. Provide support on HR System maintenance (data integrity, audits, etc.) to ensure integrity of internal database files and tables.


  9. Assist with Data Security setup and maintenance across various HR Systems. Includes creating security roles, user groups, and assigning appropriate user access.


  10. Assist in the review, testing and implementation of HR System upgrades, new releases and patches.


  11. Provide support and training to end-users such as Corporate, Region and Shared Service Center staff regarding HR System Processes and Ad-Hoc Reporting requests


  12. Maintain user procedures, guidelines and documentation.


  13. Build relationships and clear communication channels with Region and SSC HR Teams, HR Shared Services Team, Leadership Teams, Associates, and vendors.


  14. Support HR Technology Department initiatives and occasionally lead special HR Technology projects.


  15. Other duties as required.



Qualifications:




  1. Must meet company’s requirements for employment.

  2. Associate’s degree in business, human resources, technology, or other related field of study, or a combination of related education and work experience. 



  3. 2+ years of HR experience, preferably in HRIS or working with HR Technology and reporting


  4. Detail oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills, proven ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision, and self-motivated.


  5. Ability to multi-task and respond quickly by adjusting to constantly shifting priorities under tight deadlines and time constraints.


  6. Customer Service Focused.


  7. Intermediate use of Microsoft Office suite products such as Access or Excel, including working with large data sets and formulas such as vlookups, IF statements and pivot tables.


  8. Bachelor’s degree in human resources or information systems preferred.


  9. Experience with integrated HR systems preferred.


  10. Experience using iCIMS, ADP Enterprise, or Cornerstone preferred, but not required.


  11. Understanding of Recruiting, Onboarding, Learning Management, Talent Management and HR concepts, policies and procedures.


  12. Ability to communicate with varying levels of management, as well as people with varying levels of technical expertise.
