Job Description:

Under the general supervision of the Director of HR Systems, is responsible for assisting in the coordination of a variety of HR functions.
This is a full-time Monday-Friday day position working 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities
A. Assists HR Coordinator with Onboarding
• Trains to cover onboarding in absence of HR Coordinator
• Assists with all recruitment and onboarding tasks as needed
• Follows up on outstanding onboarding items as directed
B. Benefits Coordination
• Assists employees with questions/problem resolution with regards to employee benefits
• Worker's Compensation & OSHA: Knowledgeable about worker's compensation and OSHA to assist with staff questions as a backup for HR Coordinator
• 403(b): Knowledgeable about 403(b) plan and able to easily communicate plan to employees, assists staff with questions as needed
• Coordinates employee discount programs
• Coordinates employee STAR program
• Coordinator employee gift programs (bereavement, retirement, bump boxes, etc.)
• Assists with planning and implementing all HR activities and events
C. HRIS
• Entry of employee changes into HRIS as directed: to include license and certifications, completion of employee data, filing HR documents
• Assists with HRIS tasks as requested
• Effectively utilizes all HR technologies
D. Administrative Tasks
• Responds to all employment verification requests in a timely manner
• Supports VP of HR and Director of HR Systems with administrative tasks as requested (coordinate meetings, minutes, filing, etc.)
• Ensures all HR policies and forms are updated and placed on the policies portal
• Utilizes HR electronic filing system to store and retrieve employee data
• Assists with coordinating Turner House
• Assists with HR Reporting as requested
• Promptly advises Director or VP of HR of any human resources situation or unusual circumstances
• Ensures that confidentiality in maintained with regard to all personal actions and records

Qualifications
Education: High school diploma required
Experience: 2-3 years' experience in human resources or a customer service related role
