We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to help drive our Network Edge offering to the next level, enabling our customers to easily deploy hybrid multi-cloud networking capabilities -- from our marketplace of leading technology vendors -- to achieve their digital aspirations while achieving end-to-end management, performance, standardization, security, and compliance goals. You will both tactically manage the backlog based on a deep understanding of customer needs and return-on-investment and strategically develop the roadmap based on critically assessing new market opportunities.

Responsibilities


  • Execute the Network Edge strategy to power the world’s digital leaders with digital infrastructure


  • Manage and communicate the roadmap. Participate in creating a shared vision and clear goals for the product


  • Partner with and deeply listen to customers and field sales to identify unmet needs and new use cases


  • Partner with UX, solution architects, and engineering to ideate solutions, placing a premium on user experience


  • Validate ideas with customers before, during, and after development


  • Manage the backlog: Prioritizes the few items to move forward among many candidates based on an analysis of the business opportunity vs level of effort


  • Define metrics that will be used to inform product success and help drive user experience improvements


  • Keeps GTM and supportability front-of-mind in designing offers


  • Support market assessments with qualitative and quantitative research; validate the problem space; size the market; meaningfully segment it; determine segment attractiveness, develop theory of competitive advantage and implications for value chain; create business case and impacts to EBITDA


  • Perform pricing evaluation and administers price changes. Manage the forecast


  • Research competitors and verticals; prepares reports related to financial position, competitive position and market potential


  • Collaborate with product engineering, network architects, network deployment, and service delivery teams in the rollout of new offers, releases, and markets


  • Manages stakeholder expectations within and/or across functions; Identifies and proactively includes correct stakeholders and communications effectively; Understands stakeholder needs and builds effective relationships; Utilizes effective methods of communication with stakeholders, varying approach accordingly


  • Design product training curriculum; participates in cross-functional trainings and meetings


  • Collaborate with Product Marketing and Partner Marketing on GTM alignment to enable direct sales, partners, and technology partners


  • Run the business: analyze and optimize value chain activities; establish and monitor KPIs; implements course corrections as needed


  • Provide customer and partner briefings and serves as an evangelist


Qualifications


  • 7- 10 years of experience in a software product management role


  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, MBA desired


  • Strong preference for cloud networking experience


  • Networking experience


  • Strong written and verbal communication skills


  • Ability to influence without authority


  • Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize information into a cohesive understanding


  • Creativity with a desire to ideate


  • Self starter who thrives in working in fast-paced environment and comfortable operating in the white space


  • Software development and API experience a plus
