Aveda Arts and Sciences Institutes are looking for a Compliance Officer who is passionate and authentic to join our team of 18+ Cosmetology and Esthetics Institutes!

The Compliance Auditor will be responsible for the following Essential Job Functions:


  • Conduct on-site file audits to ensure compliance with state regulatory requirements, NACCAS Standards and Title IV regulations and recommend and monitor appropriate follow-up action
  • Provide oversight of file maintenance
  • Provide support on NACCAS applications for all qualifying events, not limited to:

    1. Reaccreditation
    2. Change in Location
    3. Curriculum Changes

  • Help prepare Institutional Self-Studies for NACCAS
  • Verify data included on NACCAS Annual Report
  • Assist with IPEDS and campus crime data collection and reporting
  • Assist with compliance training initiatives
  • Support the development and implementation of processes to strengthen internal controls and mitigate risk

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:


  • Work history in a compliance or auditing field which demonstrates the ability to perform the Essential Job Functions described above.  Post-secondary compliance experience is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Exceptional computer skills and business writing skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to act and operate with minimal daily direction from manager to accomplish objectives
  • Highly detail oriented and organized in work
  • Ability to coach and supervise
  • 50% anticipated travel
