Job Description:














Major Responsibilities


  • ·       Prepares and communicates monthly reporting and tracking for the supported selling organizations (e.g., Wins/Losses, LPR Hurdle Tracking, Sales Transformation Dashboard, etc.)

  • ·       Prepare ad hoc analytical requests to support internal customers

  • ·       Work closely with Director in developing analytical tools and reporting for internal customers

  • ·       Supports continuous improvement efforts in financial processes and tools incorporating best practices.

  • ·       Manages processes, performance management, and compliance activities as required.

  • ·       Understands and demonstrates Essendant's Core Values.

  • ·       Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills/Knowledge Required


  • ·       Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

  • ·       Exceptional verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills and ability to communicate complex business issues in a clear and concise manner.

  • ·       Strong project management skills and ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple work assignments simultaneously.

  • ·       Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with strong Excel skills in data compilation and aggregation (e.g., pivot tables, v-lookup).

  • ·       Proficiency in Hyperion, SAP Financials, and Acorn ABC

Education and Experience


  • ·       Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics.

  • ·       CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification or MBA is a plus.

  • ·       Minimum five (5) years experience in financial roles, preferably in a large corporate environment.
