About the team

We are a hardworking group of content marketers driven to build engaging, consistent, and cohesive content experiences. We are MuleSoft's storytellers, orchestrating the content strategy for the web and blog - leading the whole end-to-end organic web user journey. We tell our product and company story in a clear, concise way that aligns with our corporate narrative and is SEO-optimized. We take a data-driven approach to storytelling, testing copy, and messaging. We constantly measure the impact of our content and take a creative and analytical lens to drive brand awareness and ACV.

About you

You have a knack for content strategy and editing and are a project manager at heart. You're results-driven, organized, and an outstanding communicator. You collaborate across the organization and seek to help blog contributors get the most return on investment from their work. You're a stickler for grammar and spelling, an outstanding editor, and are able to adapt any piece of content that comes your way to our corporate messaging, editorial, voice, and tone guidelines. You have an approach to prioritization and apply metrics to your ever-evolving content strategy.

Responsibilities


  • Lead the MuleSoft blog end-to-end - from evolving the content strategy to enabling contributors to editing and scheduling content


  • Build and handle editorial calendars for the blog to ensure maximum reach and impact


  • Build and maintain a blog strategy that is in-line with our content vision and SEO standard methodologies


  • Edit blogs and ensure they follow editorial, voice, and tone guidelines


  • Optimize blog submission processes and distribute enablement material


  • Track blog performance, present findings, and drive measurable impact


  • Promote blogs across various channels (social, email, etc.)


  • Partner with Web Development and Design teams to optimize the blog user experience and design


  • Partner with the SEO team to implement keyword strategies for the blog


  • Partner with our web producers to ensure blogs are published on time


Requirements


  • 4+ years of experience managing, editing, for a blog


  • Knowledge of SEO and content standard methodologies


  • Knowledge of AP style


  • Knowledge of Google Analytics


  • Knowledge of Wordpress


Preferred requirements


  • Knowledge of HTML


  • Knowledge of SEO tools such as SEMRush, BrightEdge, etc.


  • Knowledge about APIs, integration technology, or enterprise IT solutions
