Job Summary


Responsible for leading and managing a team that delivers high-quality embedded software and firmware for a wide range of cutting-edge storage systems and flash-based performance enhancement modules.

Job Requirements



  • Lead a team of high-performing software and firmware development engineers.

  • Lead software/firmware project teams through all phases of the product development cycle in support of latest storage systems and performance enhancement modules.

  • Firmware development efforts require working with internal teams as well as JDM/ODM partners on BIOS Loader and BMC development.

  • Work closely with other software teams as well as the hardware shelf firmware QA manufacturing and customer support teams across multiple sites and time zones to make key decisions and provide status and iterative releases.

  • Ensure the timely and high-quality releases of new functionality in ONTAP NetApp's data management software.

  • Provide early customer support and sustaining functions.

  • Provide coaching and career development for members of your team. Be willing to work on additional tasks and responsibilities that will contribute towards team department and company goals.

Education


IC - Typically requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience.Mgr & Exec - Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience.

This role could be eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, 401(K), Paid Time off (PTO), Company bonus, Employee stock purchase plan, and restricted stocks (RSU's) *. Final compensation will be dependent on various factors such as location, qualifications, certifications, relevant work experience and other factors, consistent with applicable law.
