The Senior Software Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining .Net software applications and components on .NET and .NET Core frameworks. Newer applications are built with a React front-end. This position provides timely, accurate and quality code design and construction for Kuder products.
Location:
Remote (preferably within 45 miles of Adel, IA)
Essential Job Functions:
Develop code to meet requested acceptance criteria using specified programming languages, tools, and techniques.
Design, implement, maintain and test new and existing software modules and applications.
Design, code, troubleshoot Integrations between diverse applications/systems
Understand and execute upstream/downstream impact analysis.
Complete development work for all assigned projects by established deadlines agreed to by both the client and project team members.
Store, retrieve, and manipulate data for analysis of system capabilities and requirements utilizing entity framework and SQL
Identify and correct of defects in existing software systems.
Lead the development team in defining technical solutions for functional requirements.
Ensure proper technical design of new system feature and modifications to existing features.
Investigation and development of skills in new software technologies.
Definition of technical specifications and DevOps procedures.
Define release management protocol and share deployment responsibilities with other developers on team.
Mentor other developers on team.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field.
5+ years of demonstrated knowledge of web-based applications.
5+ years of demonstrated knowledge of relational database concepts.
5+ years of experience supporting production systems in a production environment.
Excellent understanding of Object-Oriented programming.
Knowledge of Dependency Injection
Skills and Abilities:
5+ years of experience working with the following technologies/tools/frameworks:
.NET, .NET Core, C#, SQL, React
Microsoft Visual Studio
Microsoft SQL Server
Azure
Git Version Control
ORM tools, such as Entity Framework or NHibernate
Ability to manage and complete multiple projects over extended amount of time.
Experience working in an Agile development environment.
Experience working both independently and, in a team, oriented, collaborative environment.
Superior communication and collaboration skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), webinar tools, and Internet-based systems and programs.
