About the Role:

An Account Specialist, Client Services at Toppan Merrill maintains customer satisfaction in an identified specialty (ie: print, direct response, program, fulfillment) with assigned accounts through responding to order or service inquires, preparing general correspondence and coordinating with other functional area as required. You will be the direct liaison between the client and our business,

What You'll Do:


  • Assist internal and external clients on technical products or services by answering questions and solving problems involved in their activity

  • Identify, investigate, and research client questions and problems and may refer to Sales or other service personnel for follow-up as appropriate

  • Recommend and determine the scope of client driven projects and outlines a plan of action

  • Modify and scope service solutions to help internal/external clients better manage day to day operations

  • Estimate and manage project schedules and budgets

  • Effectively diffuse complex client situations and promote company as a whole while in the execution of the project

  • Research and resolve customer problems, recommending modification to the product/service line

  • Administration of inventory, ensuring successful attainment of product methodology ownership.Involves print and product initiation, client engagement and analysis of appropriate quantities based on usage trending, manufacturing, and forecasting

  • Analyze order activity and inventory trending to make recommendations for cost savings and increased profitability. Ensures project deliverables for clients are accurate and timely

  • Review financial statements monthly for assigned client programs. Audit for accuracy, identify problem areas and resolve financial discrepancies to internal requirements and to the client's satisfaction

  • Carry out day to day administration tasks as assigned for client deliverables

  • Drive team dynamics, workflow, and process

  • Mentor others in the team environment through communicating "why" things are done

  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve conflict and exceed client expectations

About You:


  • Ability to effectively self-prioritize workload

  • Demonstrate a proactive, innovative, and consultative approach in their interactions

  • Demonstrate deductive reasoning, good judgment, and excellent communication skills in a fast pace environment in situation where limited information may be available

  • Adaptable and flexible to changing work environment (including shift and location)

  • Ability to work within a team environment with shared responsibilities

  • Possesses a comprehensive understanding of the industry to act as a resource to the team

  • Agent for change; identify opportunities for new processes, workflows, or business solutions

Qualifications and Experience:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 2-3 years related experience in client services environment

  • Proficient in PC applications such as Word, Excel, Access, e-mail, and internet use
