IT-Assistant Vice President (Morrisville, NC): Work on IT architecture enhancements & design changes in electronic trading systems covering equities, derivatives, & FX. Support electronic trading platform development projects & facilitate sprint planning using JIRA & Agile techniques. Design & implement new features as per business requirements using C++ & Linux. Monitor daily stand-up, iteration planning, sprint review, & iteration retrospective. Create or analyze business requirement documents & project timelines. Guide the team in time estimating practices & facilitate team estimates. Work on team iteration execution, communicate with management & stakeholders, & protect the team from uncontrolled injection of work. Ensure operational excellence by assessing risk & control throughout the entire technology stack. Define & implement improvement stories to increase velocity & quality of the program.
