JOB SUMMARY

Reports to the Director, Digital Design and Customer Experience and is skilled with in-depth technical expertise in software. Responsible for Java and Apex development to support Salesforce Health Cloud Implementation. Demonstrated experience developing code for these points of integration. Be able to design to established standards to ensure consistency in function and efficiency. Participates in the development of solutions requiring analysis and research. Utilizes process improvement techniques.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Education and Experience

The knowledge, skills and abilities as indicated below are normally acquired through the successful completion of an Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, IS, or other appropriate field or equivalent experience. A minimum of two years of experience in developing software code. Experience in Apex & Java development is desired. Preference will be given to candidates with training and experience with those software and hardware products regularly used by Beacon.

Knowledge & Skills


  • Demonstrates the interpersonal skills necessary to establish solid customer relationships and to interact effectively with all levels of Beacon Health System associates.

  • Demonstrated experience developing applications using object oriented language (C++, C#, Java, etc.). Experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and API implementations (REST, SOAP) desired.

  • Familiar with one or more on-premise/SaaS packaged COTS (Commercial Off-the-Shelf) solutions for ERP, CRM, e-Commerce, or mobile (e.g. Salesforce.com, NetSuite, Oracle, Siebel, SAP, WorkDay, etc.).

  • Working knowledge of on-premise/cloud-based infrastructures, SDLC pipelines, and deployments/configurations.

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively develop solutions within a diverse technical team.

  • Demonstrate ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Demonstrated experience with High-Availability, Fault-Tolerance, Performance Testing and Tuning parameters.

  • Demonstrates good organization skills and the ability to work independently, prioritize workload, detail oriented, handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Requires excellent organization, timeliness and communication skills. Must exhibit a positive, friendly attitude, and a willingness to do what it takes to get a project done on time.
