The Associate, Release and Control Management position is an integral part of the Mortgage Center Operations team and will be responsible for defining, communicating, and holding the different product teams accountable for their tech deliveries. The role will act as a conduit between the product teams and the Risk & Control teams to ensure that all work done within the technology sector has been adequately documented and approved. The ideal candidate would be detail oriented and would ideate and optimize our release management and project SDLC controls

Primary Responsibilities

• Responsible for creation, distribution, and communication of Technology release schedules
• Creation of releases and sprints as a jira administrator for product teams
• Communicates system down times to stake holders during key release dates
• Partners with product owners and testers to ensure all documentation is adequate in accordance with the CORE controls the project teams are responsible for
• Optimizes the release sign off hand shakes between technology and product teams ensuring that they are in accordance with CORE controls.
• Identify all process impacts and ensure all documentation, both internal and Client facing, is current and compliant.

Minimum Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in business operations, business process improvement, project execution, compliance or technology roles
• Self-starter with the ability to solve problems creatively and deliver results while working in a dynamic, collaborative, and challenging environment
• Strong project management skills, and ability to collaborate with multiple points of contact in order to achieve results
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate and sell a vision
• Ability to effectively communicate across all levels, including the executive presence to interact with and influence Senior Management
• Job experience within an Agile project environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools with particular skill with Excel, PowerPoint and VISIO.
• Proficiency with jira and confluence
• BS/BA or equivalent

• Experience with the Mortgage industry
• Strong interest in new technology and trends with the ability to relate concepts to practical application
• SAFe, CSPO, CSM, PMP certified
