Overview

JPMorgan Chase Corporate Real Estate is responsible for a worldwide occupancy portfolio of 75.3 million square feet across 61 countries in over 5,900 properties. The Vendor Management Office (VMO) in Global Real Estate (GRE) is responsible for managing complex Global Real Estate Outsourcing contracts, Third Party Oversight compliance, and more than 1,700 direct supplier relationships. This team is responsible for providing necessary information and consultation to Senior Business Leaders & functional and regional partners to support the management of their supplier population and enable data-based decision making. Third Party Oversight (TPO) and Contingent Worker (CW) Team Lead will be based in Houston, Texas and will form a critical component of the broader VMO team. This role will be responsible for ensuring adherence to the Corporate TPO and CW program and managing a centralized team of eight to twelve staff. The ideal candidate will effectively manage all compliance requirements regarding contract administration, ensure firm systems are updated appropriately with vendor information and lead the team in ensuring governance standards are adhered to and administered in the most effective and efficient way to support our internal clients.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Manage, monitor and track a portfolio of third party supplier's compliance to the Third Party Oversight program

• Assisting in the centralization and development of a TPO and CW program

• Manage a team of 8-12 staff

• Coordinate and monitor all new engagements through the TPO 3-Phase lifecycle

• Ensure all due diligence is completed and documented according to the firm wide policy and procedures

• Disposition Standard Process vs. Alternate Process engagements (e.g., Specialized Service Categories, etc.).

• Overseeing compliance to Anti-Corruption Policy for Third Party Intermediaries

• Assist Delivery Managers to ensure all documents supporting existing Third Parties are completed

• Perform data quality audits of information entered into systems of record and issue metrics reports to monitor compliance with the TPO program

• Assist in managing delivery dates for all remediation plans, non-compliance acceptances, TPR reviews and Corporate TPO deliverables.

• Assist in training Delivery and Senior Managers (Executive Sponsors) on the TPO procedures and systems.

• Ensure TPMO duties are delivered in an efficient, effective, and sustainable way

• Responsible for monitoring through various reports, tools, and system research for all engagements/services associated with the third party supplier.

Qualifications:

• 5 - 7 years relevant work experience with desired candidates having experience with Vendor Management, Procurement, Sourcing, Risk, Oversight & Control, or related roles

• Strong personnel and organizational management skills, including expertise in issue and conflict resolution and the ability to effectively build, mentor, lead, develop and retain staff

• Proficient in MS office suite applications- Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio

• Outstanding analytical and research ability working with financial or operational data

• Excellent business judgment, particularly the ability to proactively monitor the program to identify and address issues early, performing root cause analysis to develop long term solutions

• Strong communications and reporting ability

• Ability to partner closely with related functions (Sourcing, Legal & Compliance, Audit, etc.) to ensure a coordinated and effective program

• Process Reengineering experience a plus
