The Finance Department oversees the accounting and financial planning and reporting functions of the organization. The team oversees accounting functions such as ledger accounts, financial statements and cost control systems with a focus on regulatory compliance and practices.

Position Summary

Taking a lead role in the accounting team, you will reconcile GL accounts and perform end to end accounting on a number of key accounts and areas of the Benson Hill corporate business. You will take ownership of accounting areas that require reporting and process improvement, driving performance and efficiencies whilst maintaining controls and a controlled environment. Further your Journal entries will directly influence the financial results of the company.

You Will:

• Procedural improvements and automation of accounting processes


• Journal Entry and data analysis


• GL Account reconciliation


• Communication of results and resolution of issues and items with senior management.

(Competencies and Qualifications)

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, or similar degree


• Master's Degree preferred


• CPA, or working towards CPA is highly preferred

• 5-7 years of Fixed Asset and Cash Reconciliation experience

• Attention to detail

• Ability to focus and work independently with little direction
