Enrollment/Billing Sr Representative - REVENUE ACCOUNT SPECIALIST (RAS)

Role Summary

The Revenue Account Specialist (RAS) is responsible for managing all billing aspects for a book of business including Over/Under 500 and National Accounts. The RAS is accountable to collect all premium/fees billed on an invoice, resolve all billing inquiries, and partner with internal and external partners to create a positive client experience.

Responsibilities

• Primary contact for the client, broker, and third party administrator for all items related to the medical, dental, vision, and pharmacy invoice.


• Communicates to the client via scheduled meetings, telephone calls, and emails.


• Allocate premiums in the CARBS webtool system for onshore accounts.


• Communicate via telephone and email to delinquent clients in order to drive collection of outstanding premiums following the standard delinquency process.


• Provide guidance and direction to the Global Service Partner for allocation of cash.


• Partner with internal partners such as Commissions, Underwriting, Sales, and Implementation to service the client.


• Recommend reserve amounts/accruals to Finance on a monthly basis.


• Create custom reporting for clients per PBAB approval.


• Identify and drive opportunities for improved client satisfaction and reduce financial risk.


• Proactively manage a book of business with varied complexity to achieve all metrics.


• Updates reporting timely and accurately.


• Drives changes in client behavior to achieve Cigna's financial results.

• Undergraduate degree preferred.


• 2+ years in billing or finance.


• High level of written and oral communication skills.


• Professional client and customer interaction.


• Ability to professionally influence matrix partners.


• Ability to meet deliverable with tight timelines.


• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel is required.


• Ability to assume a leadership role in a team environment.


• Technical proficiency.

This role is WAH/Flex which allows most work to be performed at home. Employees must be fully vaccinated if they choose to come onsite.

This position is not eligible to be performed in Colorado.
