POSITION SUMMARY

Account Executive, Pulmonary

The Account Executive is responsible for promoting and selling the Accredo' s Specialty Pharmacy services in product lines that have been assigned in the specified territory. (Products to include: Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension therapies, Interstitial Lung Disease & Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis) They serve as the primary liaison for customer advocacy, and work closely with our internal constituents to ensure our tradition of excellent customer service.

Note: - This role will support the New England territory including Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine and parts of NY (Albany/Syracuse). Candidate must be familiar with and currently live in this area.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS


  • The Sr Account Manager educates customers on the Accredo specialty pharmacy model, serves as the primary liaison for resolution of customer issues, and works closely with our internal constituents to ensure our tradition of excellent customer service.

  • In order to drive new business, achieve sales objectives, and drive key financial metrics, this individual will support and execute strategies, champion sales activities, and manage complex client relationships.

  • Collaborate with clinical care teams, reimbursement department and brand teams to provide insight and forward thinking solutions to ensure Accredo' s competitive advantage.

  • Assist National Account Managers in implementing MCO contracts to drive local pull-through business.

  • Communicates regularly with our Payor teams.

  • Develop territory sales forecasts based on completed profile of assigned physician offices. Responsible for tracking referrals from physicians.

  • Use business acumen and advanced knowledge of Accredo products/services and industry trends to meet or exceed established patient admit goals.

  • Attend and participate in conferences/exhibits for targeted audiences (i.e. physicians, nurses, etc.).

  • Attend case conferences with other representatives of the service branch.

  • Participate and assist in planning sales meetings.

  • Meet productivity requirements with regard to quality customer interaction. Daily goals for reach and frequency as defined.


Primary MD Call Points:

  • Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension: PAH Centers of Excellence, Pulmonologists and Cardiologists

  • ILD, IPF: Hospital/Center-based Pulmonologists


Secondary MD Call Points:
  • PAH, ILD, IPF: Community based Pulmonology, Cardiology, and Rheumatologists

QUALIFICATIONS


  • Bachelor's degree in related field and 8-12 years relevant experience or

  • Master's degree and 6-10 year of relevant experience.

  • Preference given to service sales experience with: PAH, ILD, IPF and/or nursing experience.

  • MS -Excel, Power Point, & Word proficient, as well as overall computer proficiency.

  • Knowledge of managed care.

  • Experience with business plan development.

  • Excellent organizational and problem solving skills.

  • Proven ability to self-motivate.

This role requires regular travel to client & customer sites & you must be fully vaccinated OR be required to undergo regular testing. If you're unvaccinated, you will be required to self-test (test will be provided to you) and you must obtain a negative result no greater than three (3) calendar days prior to the meeting/travel departure.

This position is not eligible to be performed in Colorado.
