Overview

Boise Cascade has an immediate opening within our HR Services department for a Recruiting Coordinator with experience working in a shared services organization that delivers Benefits and HR program administration as well as recruiting support. The successful candidate will be a recruiting task processing master and focus on process communication regarding hires, screening processes, create checklists and deliver onboarding training, answer management processing questions, performing reference checks, assisting in executing talent strategy initiatives as needed. This role will work out of our Corporate HQ offices in Boise, ID and has some potential for remote work. Come grow with us!

Responsibilities

• Organize and track all activities involved in the recruiting and onboarding process including candidate and hiring manager correspondence, processing drug test and background checks, and provide ongoing communication.
• Utilize applicant tracking system to maintain candidate data, post job openings and ensure correct tracking.
• Responsible for the delivery of centralized, transaction-based recruiting tasks.
• Handles escalated or confrontational calls with minimal assistance and without emotional involvement or reaction.
• Responsible for conducting a variety of presentations, including new employee orientations and Training as needed.
• Providing follow-up correspondence to candidates on recruiting status via phone and email.
• Tracking recruiting activities and providing candidate status in a daily/weekly/monthly report.
• Identifying opportunities for improving candidate experience and scheduling efficiency.
• Provide administrative support, conduct research as requested to support other projects and program initiatives to develop world class processes and tools for the recruiting function.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
• High School Diploma, or equivalent.
• Strong computer skills required.
• HR/Recruiting background and process knowledge are required.
• Strong presentation skills required.
• Must be able to effectively work in a team/group environment.
• Ability to prioritize and work with accuracy under stress and critical time constraints.
• Able to handle confidential information with absolute discretion.
• Experience with applicant tracking systems and MS Office suite.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interface with all levels of the organization and with external candidates.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to provide consistently high-quality work with minimal errors.
• Ability to effectively solve problems and overcome challenges.
• Strong customer service orientation with a demonstrated desire to exceed expectations.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Degree/certificate in Human Resources.
• More than 3 years of experience in related job function.
• Bilingual language skills.
