The Corporate Paralegal will assist Arhaus General Counsel by providing administrative and research support services including document preparation and review; lease abstracting, contract maintenance, research, and investigations.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Meets with General Counsel and other business partners to discuss assigned cases or projects.
Drafts legal documents including routine pleadings and motions, affidavits, and interrogatories; files motions and pleadings according to judicial procedures.
Researches and analyzes statutes, regulations, legal articles, judicial decisions, and other legal sources; provides written analysis to General Counsel.
Prepares, organizes, stores, and retrieves case files, lease files, and abstracts.
Maintains and files corporate records, including resolutions, Board of Director meeting minutes, reports, etc.
Coordinates and obtains Board and Committee member signatures for documents and materials
Prepares and completes compliance documents related to corporate operations, leasing, and insurance
Maintains the company’s intellectual property portfolio and researches trademark and patent filings
Produces documents and templates related to the development and implementation of corporate policies
Provides support for standard corporate agreements (Vendor/Supplier), non-disclosure (NDA), non-competes, and independent contractor agreements
Provides administrative support for documents and activities related to corporate compliance with governmental filings
Works with other business partners and General Counsel on special projects and initiatives
Provides administrative support for General Counsel
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
Associate degree in Paralegal Studies or related field required; Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies or related field preferred.
Paralegal certificate required.
A minimum experience of three years in a paralegal role
Real Estate and transactional/Contract experience preferred
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
