Job Description:

The Complex Fulfillment Coordinator is a crucial role within the Client Enablement Team. The Complex Fulfillment Coordinator will enable complex opportunities and deliver world class customer outcomes as part of the Best Buy Business sales strategy. This role works closely with internal and external cross-functional partners to support Best Buy Business sales opportunities that require coordination of product and complex freight or fulfillment of Enterprise and Vertical opportunities, i.e. Multi-Dwelling Unit, Multi-Site Location, Hospitality, Education, Health. As these opportunities expand our capabilities and drive growth, the role is expected to be adaptive and evolve to meet the changing needs of the complex business landscape.

This role requires a high level of systems knowledge around all things involving end-to-end order flow. The Coordinator ensures that we are properly allocating product to clients based on Enterprise availability and planned demand. The Coordinator will work in a collaborative team environment to specialize and gain mastery around specific types of opportunities within the operations ecosystem, with an emphasis in expedited, staged, and white glove deliveries. In addition, the coordinator will be tasked with working more complex Open Order Report (OOR) statuses daily to proactively manage orders through the fulfillment process and identify issues that may occur in a timely manner to drive Incident Tickets (INCs) to our ASM Support team for action. This role requires the ability to adapt, identify gaps in the customer experience and create positive customer outcomes.

This team will partner with a broad array of internal and external partners, Business Planners, Category Managers, Merchant Analysts, Demand Planner, Forecasters, to ensure that we are meeting client needs in a timely manner while still managing Enterprise planned fulfillment strategy when procuring large quantity and/or limited quantity product. The Coordinator will also partner with Supply Chain, Transportation, RDC & DDC Operations teams as well as Geek Squad City and 3PL Carriers to ensure that we are fulfilling large orders properly (Parcel vs Postal vs LTL) and that we have the correct timing assigned to the deliveries. They will also work closely with other Complex Project teams, i.e. Project Execution, Field PM’s to ensure all the moving parts coordinate to the appropriate outcomes. In addition, they will communicate with the client when applicable to help ensure the coordination of complex deliveries and manage service recovery as needed.

Key Responsibilities


  • End to end Order Management

  • Proactive communication and cross-functional coordination

  • Manage complex opportunities and make decisions based on cost (product price from available suppliers) and/or pricing (logistics and shipping costs based on preferred supplier list)

  • Identify system issues in a timely manner and work with Systems/IT teams to ensure resolution

  • Manage workload intake and updates through CRM, phone queue and email boxes as well as through the open order report

  • Warehouse, Fulfillment Partner & Vendor Relationships

  • Partner closely with our RDCs, DDCs, Geek Squad City & Stores to maintain close relationships and make decisions on complex order fulfillment

  • Engage Fulfillment Partners and Vendor contacts to ensure orders are flowing through distribution partners within predetermined SLAs

  • Partner with our carriers to manage shipping expectations and levels of service for customer deliveries as well as making the decision on which carrier is used for what expectations as well as levels of service

Basic Requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Requirements

  • 2 yrs Best Buy or Best Buy Business experience

  • 2 yrs Vendor/3rd party communication

  • 2 yrs Retail experience

  • 2 yrs Working with systems teams
