Position Summary

The primary role of the Network Supply Planning Analyst is to support the team in the creation of an optimized End-to-End (E2E) network supply plan for all Import and domestic items for both CBI Distribution Centers and Beer Wholesaler facilities, for the medium- or long-term horizon.  The E2E network supply plan must ensure continuous and efficient supply of finished goods products to customers thru the three-tiered network, using a minimum amount of inventory to maximize efficiency targets, minimize working capital costs and conserve cash by managing stock levels.  The role will also support the team by identifying, reporting on and mitigating key risks and opportunities associated with demand variation as well as capacity and material constraints.

Responsibilities


  • Evaluating and interpreting the impact of key changes, risks, and opportunities and developing scenarios considering trade-offs that drive overall business performance in liaison with other planners.

  • Developing automated reporting in IQ and/or other software to enable network supply planning teams for improved decision making and tradeoff decisions/escalations.

  • Reports and tracks Key Performance Indicators- working capital (Distributor and DC Inventory DOH, inventory turns, actual vs target) and Service (OTIF, Out-Of-Stocks), troubleshooting underperforming metrics and develops a plan to increase compliance levels in conjunction with network supply supervisor, network supply planners, and the deployment planning team.

  • Responsible for accuracy of all JDA parameters including maintenance, updates, tuning, documentation, and enhancements.  Coordinates with Information Technology and other related departments.

  • Responsible for managing all distributor-item- mode of transportation system sourcing to ensure all Distributor- Item forecasts are assigned to the correct supply source, optimizing service and lowering unplanned costs. 

  • Supports the Supervisor, Network Supply Planning with the generation of monthly S&OP Supply Review content.

  • Communicates and interacts with network supply planners, MPS, demand planners, customer management, T&L, sales, and finance to provide distributor and CBI DC replenishment plans and exception-based reporting. 

  • Supports the Network Supply Planning Supervisor to drive continuous improvement efforts to improve performance on all key metrics, including service targets and network inventory levels.

  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications


  • B.A./B.S. majoring in Supply Chain, Operations or a business-related field or equivalent working experience.

  • 2+ years operations, supply chain, or finance experience

  • Experience with ERP and APS software, business intelligence tools & business analytics software

  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Office applications, Excel and PowerPoint a must

  • Must be willing and able to learn and acquire new skills and abilities.

Preferred Qualifications


  • Knowledge of beverage alcohol industry preferred.

  • APICS certification a plus.

  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, & problem-solving skills

  • Self-motivated – able to set priorities and implement decisions to meet deadlines

  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills to work and communicate effectively cross-functionally to obtain consensus amongst teams as well as leadership.

  • Superior communication skills to foster communication/collaboration amongst department.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities concurrently with shifting priorities.

  • Ability to work well independently as well as in a team environment.

  • High energy level and strong work ethic

Physical Requirements/Work Environment


  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. on a regular basis.

  • Must be able to travel as needed by plane or train for long distance.

  • Must be able to work in a professional corporate office environment.

  • Must be able to stand, walk, sit; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk and hear.

  • Must have close vision, distant vision, ability to adjust focus, peripheral and color vision.

  • Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time, and work on a computer for extended periods.

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
