Job Description:

Batesville is looking for a Production Associate to join our team in  Kutztown, PA. As a Production Associate you will be responsible for product assembly, proper care and handling of inventory and always following safe practices and standard work procedures.

What you’ll do


  • Production assembly line to assemble caskets

  • Maintain a clean work environment and all applicable equipment

  • Assist in the achievement of departmental and company goals

  • Perform line work as required to meet production demands and simple assembly with basic hand tools

  • Participate in cross-functional projects to improve company performance

  • Tooling used: Glue guns, staple guns, regular hand drill, power drill and other items

  • Other duties may be assigned 

 

 

Basic Requirements: 


  • Minimum Education 

  • Minimum years of specific experience required 

  • These should be objective.  

Great to Haves


  • Dependable, honest, quick learner, good communication skills and team player 

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including any days, shift, and weekends to ensure that the customer demand is met 

  • Ability to perform and interpret computer and RF functions 

  • Ability to learn new skills at a fast pace 

  • Forklift experience preferred 


  • Basic computer skills
