Shaner Hotels is seeking a full-time Marketing Food and Beverage manager to join its corporate marketing and e-commerce team. The position will be responsible for carrying out all essential food and beverage marketing strategies for a group of properties across the Shaner portfolio of hotels. The position will report directly to the Corporate Director of Food and Beverage with a dotted line to the Corporate Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
Responsibilities
Creating marketing collateral to promote F&B driven activations including happy hours, pool parties, wine dinner and other food and beverage related events
Ensure UNAP info is accurate and consistent across the web.
Work closely with Operations, Sales and Marketing to ensure that e-commerce strategies are in-line with the revenue producing strategies of the property’s F&B outlets.
Manage Food and Beverage social media efforts
Execute advertising campaigns to drive engagement with social profiles as well as potential business.
Create engaging content across all social channels.
Monitor all reviews and user generated content across all channels.
Manage e-mail marketing efforts through both brand and in-house platforms.
Manage online merchandising opportunities available through brand sites, independent sites and third party channels.
Conduct F&B website audits to ensure accurate information is being displayed across all channels and to maximize content scores.
Provide quarterly and/or monthly progress reports to property level management, ownership and the corporate executive team.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of social media and digital marketing functions
Excellent attention to detail and project management skills
Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills
Ability to travel to hotels/resorts as needed
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business or related degree
