Job Summary: 

o    Must serve as an Engineering technical advisor.

o    Must have experience in Engineering Operations and Maintenance (O&M) processes such as applications support, Windows/Linux, Networking and infrastructure, database and storage technologies.

o    Must have experience leading migration of large systems to the Cloud.

o    Must have familiarity of cloud and cloud migration processes.

 

Responsibility:

•    Note: Position identified as Key Personnel.

•    Ensure operational coverage for all critical areas to meet 24 hours, 7 days a week, 365 day requirements and priorities as identified by TSC Leadership.

•    Use routine computer applications, including but not limited to: Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Excel, Visio and Internet Explorer), Mozilla Firefox and services that operate utilizing these software packages. 

•    Orally present and communicate instructions, and in writing reports or documents that convey the findings/results of analysis to non-technical audiences.

•    Plan, organize, direct and support all activities in Area of Responsibility. 

•    Where applicable, coordinate and lead daily Engineering stand up status meeting. 

•    Where applicable, maintain the ITUs Project Schedule/IMS.

•    Assist in all project management task performance. 

•    Prioritize tasks and assignments to Contractor work force based on Government’s direction and best practices. 

•    Resolve problems, issues or conflicts, as required. 

•    Ensure Operational Issues are appropriately resourced and addressed in a timely manner; provide regular updates to government leadership."

 

Minimum Qualifications: 

•    Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Management Sciences, Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related discipline is preferred with two years of relevant experience in system architecture for enterprise-level systems; OR

•    Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Management Sciences, Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related discipline is preferred with four years of relevant experience in system architecture for enterprise-level systems OR

•    Associate’s degree in Business, Engineering, Management Sciences, Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related discipline is preferred with six years of relevant experience in system architecture for enterprise-level systems; OR

•    Ten (10) years of relevant IT experience and minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in system architecture for enterprise-level systems.

 

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
•    Must be able to demonstrate working in a 24/7 operational environment and working on call rotation. 

•    Must be a certified PMI Project Management Professional in good standing.

•    Must be able to use routine computer applications, including but not limited to: Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Excel, Visio and Internet Explorer), Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome and services that operate utilizing these software packages. 

•    Must be able to orally present and communicate instructions, and in writing reports or documents that convey the findings/results of analysis to non-technical audiences.

•    Must be a certified PMI Project Management Professional in good standing.
