Regulatory Engineering / Quality Engineering role for EMC. Provides engineering guidance, expertise, and services to ensure process, data, and product quality. Leads and drives improvements and provides specialist quality-related services to R&D, Manufacturing Engineering, Order Fulfillment, Procurement and others. Develops and implements programs and processes to ensure that company products are safe, legal, and meet or exceed customer expectations for compliance with national/regional/global regulations. Prepares document packages for regulatory submissions for new and mature products to ensure alignment and compliance with local and regional registration requirements and company policies. Compiles material required in submissions, license renewal and annual registrations and maintains updated information about national/regional/global regulatory requirements. Proactively manages the changing regulatory environment for company products, prevents barriers to trade, eliminates duplication of effort and identifies and mitigates areas of risk. Reviews product labeling and marketing materials for accuracy and compliance with regulations. Responds to customers and/or authorities requests/inquiries dealing with regulations and product compliance. May represent company in external bodies dealing with standards and/or product regulations at the national/regional/global level.


Provides EMC design, test, and mitigation expertise.


May serve as project Quality Lead and develop product Quality plans and Test plans, coordinates Quality functional reviews, and performs audits of lifecycle deliverables.


Reduces broad concepts and business strategies into structured projects.


Leads the design/ delivery of new programs/ solutions; is the key technical contributor.


Solves complex, high impact program / project design problems.

Qualifications

Required:



  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) with a minimum of 8 plus years experience in either R&D, Manufacturing, and/or Quality Departments.

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience in Improvement Methodologies (Six Sigma, PDCA, RCA, etc.).

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a cross-functional team environment

  • Demonstrated skill in planning, organizing, and prioritizing tasks across multiple projects.


Preferred:



  • Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering.

  • iNARTE EMC Certification.

  • Minimum 8 years Regulatory Experience with IEC 61326-1 and CISPR 11, or similar EMC Regulatory Standards.

  • Thorough Understanding of Radiation Safety Practices.

  • Expertise in Product Development Processes (Phase-Gate, Lifecycle, Design Control, etc.).

  • Demonstrated Project Management Experience.

  • Six Sigma Certification (Green and/or Black Belt).
