We have an opportunity for an Applications Support Specialist to join Pentair, supporting our growing Pool & Spa business unit (BU). In this role, you will be an integral part of our commercial sales team to help grow our sales and market share in North America. You will have the ability to be hybrid or 100% remote, with occasional travel to our Pool BU facilities, tradeshows, or customer visits. Applicants living in the Raleigh, NC or Orlando, FL metropolitan areas are encouraged to apply.

You will:

• Utilize our vast catalogue of commercial and residential pool products in order to provide product/project sizing and quoting.


• Review plans and specifications to select the correct Pentair equipment for the project.


• Develop quotations and proposals to satisfy the project needs.


• Assist internal and external customers on the proper selection and pricing on replacement parts.


• Track and follow-up on projects and log project opportunities using CRM software.

Key Qualifications:

• Have earned a High School Diploma AND have 5+ years of professional experience in applications support of customers OR
  


• Have earned an Associate's degree (A.S. or A.A. - technical preferred) AND have 2+ years of professional experience in applications support/equipment sizing to customers.


• Ability to collaborate effectively across all business functions, build & sustain relationships, and manage time effectively.


• Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-based decisions.


• Experience driving equipment sales growth in a commercial environment, selling technical products for a manufacturing organization, or working with water treatment and/or pool products (e.g. filtration, pumps, etc.) is a plus.
