ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

The Senior Network Engineer has the responsibility of assisting with the implementation and execution of a cloud migration strategy solution with our clients, cross-service teams, and third-party partners. The Senior Network engineer will need to understand the adoption challenges implementing a Unified Communication infrastructure within a Federally Certified Cloud environment. This role will be based remotely within the United States. Applicants must alraedy be located in the U.S. and must be a U.S. Citizen.

ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES

The Senior Network engineer must have impressive hands on experience in planning, designing, implementing, troubleshooting and optimization of networking technologies. Should be able to work extensively with Firewalls, Load Balancers, Storage Devices and other third-party applications should and when the need arises. They will have the responsibility of Network design, integration and deployment within an IL2 environment. They will also develop new systems application implementation plans and testing procedures to ensure operational reliability. Plan for and maintain development networks, storage and assist with infrastructure. They will also create and maintain technical documentation, as well as provide professional, oral and written communications to effectively convey issues, reports, and other deliverables to counterparts. Additionally, provide Tier II/III application investigation and troubleshooting support for all entities within the organization.

Perform periodic security and performance reviews as well as virus definitions and collaboration tools. Implement changes to managed infrastructure following standard ITIL aligned change control processes. Resolve technical issues associated with managed network infrastructure and respond to alerts associated with managed infrastructure. Perform standard maintenance, patching, and upgrades to managed infrastructure per ITIL-aligned standard processes

ABOUT THE REQUIREMENTS

EXPERIENCE

Firewall:

* Installing, Configuring and Maintaining Firewalls - Palo Alto.
* Understanding of Shared Firewall architecture and implementation in a distributed environment.
* Maintenance of Firewall and Analysis of firewall logs.
* Firewall configuration working with DNS, DHCP, IP, SMTP, FTP, HTTP, and HTTPS protocols and LAN networking
* Implementation of NAT, Policy NAT, Policy PAT, Twice NAT, Manual, after-auto NAT features.
* FedRAMP and PCI compliant security implementations on the firewalls and perimeter devices
* Planning, designing and implementing VPN solutions - IPSec, IPSec-Remote Access, SSL- VPN and VPN based on PKI
infrastructure.

Application Networking & Load Balancers:

* Installing & configuring standalone and HA pair Load-Balancers - BIGIP-LTM/GTM/ASM.
* Understanding of Shared Load Balancer architecture and implementation in a distributed environment.
* Configured custom solutions involving SMTP alerts, Universal Persistence profiles, Route Domains, SNI
Client SSL profiles using SAN certs, L2/L3/L4 VIP's serving the customer's requirements.
* Configuring & management of complex iRules to meet customer's application networking needs.
* Custom SMTP alerts sent to customer via email for notifications, warnings, alerts and errors.
* SSL offloading implementations on both client side/server side
* One Connect, Cookie Persistence, HTTP class, HTTP, fastL4, SSL based profiles
* Active/Active, Active/Standby implementations

REQUIREMENTS (Continued)

VPN Management:

* Must have knowledge of VPN solution such as Juniper Pulse Secure/Invanti
* Understanding of Cloud Access using Multi-Factor authentication such as Centrify/CyberArk.
* Understanding of Network, Data and Application Access

* Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
* Accountable and dependable
* Applicant must be able to thrive in a team environment with the engineering users and other systems administrators as well as work with other computer/facility support organizations and work well multi-tasking various related efforts.
* Must have good communications skills, both written and verbal and will be responsible for detailed documentation of all aspects of various system installation and configuration efforts.
* Must be able to learn new applications as they are deployed.

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION

* Bachelor's degree in telecommunications or computer science plus related field experience as a Network engineer.
* Must have at least 4 years of Systems Administration/Engineering experience
