This position is responsible for overseeing the Verification, Calibration, and Preventative Maintenance of Equipment and tools used within SNC and assisting in various other Manufacturing Engineering duties.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Manage the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) by ensuring all activity is properly recorded and performed on time.
Documents and archives reports electronically in the proper file locations.
Collaborates with outside calibration services to schedule, gather equipment, and manage visits.
Conducts verification on items such as Torque Drivers, ESD Mats, Soldering Irons, etc.
Routinely seeks out opportunities to lean out the process and find ways to reduce cost and eliminate waste.
Skills & Experience:
Experience using CMMS type software and understanding the fundamentals of Calibration.
Excellent mechanical assembly skills
Familiar with the different types of instrument and tools commonly used in a production environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient with PC and MS Office applications
Strong communication skills - written and verbal
Must demonstrate flexibility, self-direction, and self-discipline to plan and accomplish objectives and meet deadlines with limited supervision.
Exhibits a "Can-Do" attitude and actively seeks for solutions to problems; good team player with pleasant personality.
Academic Requirements:
Associates Degree in Engineering Technology preferred.
