POSITION SUMMARY:

Supports the collection, analysis and reporting of patient safety and quality data; quality improvement project tracking; and prepares reports that contribute to the health system's ability to achieve quality and safety goals. Effectively manages day-to-day tasks and responsibilities to produce timely and accurate reports, investigates data and reporting issues, and provides support and coordination for projects and meetings as requested to ensure departmental and organizational needs are met.

Location: St. Petersburg, FL

Hours: 8a - 4:30p

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A minimum of a High School diploma, GED, Certificate of Completion or equivalent achievement.


• Associates Degree in related field preferred.


• 5 years' experience in a health care setting


• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and strong interpersonal skills


• Organizational skills, ability to prioritize and attention to detail


• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access


• Knowledge of basic statistics and a working knowledge of basic quality improvement tools (e.g., PDSA, Lean)
