We are looking for ELT Developer to join us on a short term (3-4 months) opportunity.
Job Description:
The candidate will design, develop and provide direction to his pod that design and develop highly scalable and distributed systems that are used to ingest and process structured & unstructured information from Oracle and DB2.
Duties and responsibilities:
Work on acquisition, transformation & ingestion of data packages
Design, development and maintenance of new and existing jobs and data packages
Work with cross functional teams to deliver solutions efficiently
Review business requirements and perform a technical analysis of requirements and participate in estimation process
Participate in architectural discussions for new and existing data applications
Lead the team to data integration ideas for continuous integration between Oracle and DB2.
Qualifications Required:
Minimum 8-10 years of experience
Experience with push down functionality of Informatica to maximize performance
Strong data analytical skills
Ability to identify and create detailed requirements
Ability to create ETL specifications and create data mappings
Extensive experience with ETL Development Talend or similar tools
Extensive Experience in AWS Glue Environment
Extensive Experience in AWS DMS
Hands on experience working with XSLT, Unicode, XQuery, XML Schema, XPath, DTDs ETL development tools, large XML processing, Data Integration using AWS technologies
Experience developing jobs involving XML, JSON, Java, XSLT, AWS Services (S3, ECS, SQS) in Agile environment
Hands on knowledge of Git, Jenkins, Cloud Technologies (AWS preferred), RDBMS (Oracle RDS preferred)
Knowledge of Java programming, Shell Scripting, Unix environment
Solid investigative skills to find root cause for ETL problems
5+ years of experience in ETL tools. Specific expertise in implementing Informatica / Talend in an Enterprise environment is a plus.
Prior Experience in MySQL is a plus
Knowledge of Snowflake/Cloud database is a plus
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
Proven record of delivering work individually in fast paced environment with minimum guidance
Good Communication Skill, result oriented
Deep knowledge of ETL & Data related technologies
Deep knowledge in Data warehousing
