YOUR ROLE


  • Is responsible for fine scheduling of the production in the frozen zone

  • Ensures a time and quality efficient scheduling of raw materials and packaging

  • Contacts suppliers if there are deviations between delivered and ordered material Is responsible for flexible scheduling of material according to the production schedule

  • Supports phase-in and -out of recipes in terms of material availability

  • Management of planning, scheduling and procurement of materials to support daily plant operations

  • Develop stocking levels to achieve high service while balancing inventory targets

  • Develop actions to disposition and prevent slow moving inventory

  • Conduct periodic cycle counts and develop root cause analysis

  • Daily communication with Production and Customer Service on changing demands and proactive alerts on material delays

  • Mitigate risk to supply and service with strategic buffering while concurrently working to drive improvements through the entire value stream

  • Cross-functionally trained to provide support across the department

YOUR SKILLS


  • Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Admin preferred but not required

  • 2+ years related experience

  • Proven ability to manage multiple and competing priorities

  • Strong planning, organizational and analytical skills

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Detail oriented with emphasis on accuracy 

  • Able to develop and maintain strong cooperative working relationships within the group and across the organization

  • Proficiency in MS Excel

  • Experience using an ERP system; SAP experience a plus

  • APICS certification a plus
