As the VP, Data Advisory Services you will lead, guide and coach a team of highly experienced Data Experts to continue the transformation from educators to growth engine. You have walked in the shoes of data management clients and/or data experts. You have a firm understanding of data management, analysis and use case enablement and the ability to assist with thoughtfully and carefully driving and operationalizing the monetization of these services.

This role can be remote from any U.S. location in Eastern or Central time zones.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of 8-10 highly skilled Data Advisors who provide sales and our customers with expert support needed to grow revenue through our customer's consumption and enablement of D&B Data. Coach team member development to cultivate a best-in-class resource coverage model that expands the reach of D&B solutions within client organizations at the c-level, operational level and with the user base to further penetrate the D&B US and global footprint across the organization.
  • Collaborate with the Advisory Services leadership team to elevate the Advisory Services function within Dun & Bradstreet by driving the use, creation, sales and enablement of Advisory Service's Service Blocks and Packages.
  • Provide VOC, customer satisfaction, industry thought leadership, plan execution and strong partnership across all D&B orgs including but not limited to Sales leadership and account teams, Sales Enablement and Operations, Product, Marketing, Global Content, Analytics, Delivery and Customer Success Management.
  • Work with Data Advisory Services leadership team to set DAS strategy, annual and quarterly team goals, tracking efforts towards goals and use of the Consultative Engagement Process to drive customer satisfaction; track team impact via dashboards and reporting; and drive Team member recruitment, retention, growth and wellness.
  • Identify and lead special projects that DAS is best suited to drive for the business. Some examples of these projects have been VOC data quality councils, Data Management Best Practices identification, Hierarchy innovation product support.
  • About You

  • On your resume we will see combined work experience of 15+ years in Fortune 500 sales or sales support preferred combined with data management/ consulting engagement support to all size businesses from large, complex customers to small less data mature businesses across a range of industries. You also have at least five years' of experience leading teams.
  • You can effectively coach team members in a highly complex, changing environment to ensure timely completion of data consulting deliverables.
  • You are results oriented and a self-starter who can effectively influence across multiple role levels, drive priorities and own outcomes. Strong communication, interpersonal, planning and problem-solving skills are required. Excellent communication delivery able to turn complex intangible data discussions into impactful strategic understandings.
  • You have demonstrated ability to manage a geographically remote team of associates in a manner that instills collaboration, a strong belief in achieving team goals, focuses on preparedness, creates a passion for winning and personal development/growth.
  • You also have experience with data management challenges, tools, techniques and technologies used in support of data analysis, solution integration and/or database management.
  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred.
  • Travel as required.
