Role

Manages the discovery and use of intelligence and insights that helps advance Express Scripts Pharmacy products, services and experiences to grow the pharmacy business. Develop a strong understanding of pharmacy users' unique challenges and discovers consumer trends that lend to new opportunities in the space. Translates complex and diverse intelligence into initiatives that can be used to grow the business. Helps facilitates business conversations using insights to better position products, drive more strategic marketing, and improve customer experiences. Ownership of specific initiatives from strategy development to meaningful execution, all grounded in insights, including appropriate analytics to test, learn, and evolve.

Responsibilities


  • Conduct and manage primary, secondary and competitive intelligence research, including issue identification, design, execution, analysis and reporting.

  • Ongoing scans of consumer trends and competitor activities, using a variety of primary and secondary sources, and dissemination of this information to the organization.

  • Leverage business knowledge, combined with research and insights, to identify improvement and white space opportunities to grow the Pharmacy business.

  • Synthesize information to specific business objectives, using a variety of primary and secondary sources. Translate complex and disparate intelligence into everyday understanding of information.

  • Serve as a cross-functional liaison, comfortable working independently and collaborating with project leaders and peers.

Desired qualifications and competencies


  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum 10+ years of experience in research and/or marketing or Master's degree with a minimum 7+ years of experience

  • Hands-on experience designing, managing and analyzing primary research studies, strong vendor management skills.

  • Demonstrated capabilities identifying, gathering and analyzing credible secondary research, including consumer conversations on social platforms.

  • Strategic, "big picture" thinker and creative problem-solver who can seamlessly link consumer and competitor intelligence with current product, marketing, and experience initiatives.

  • Presentation and facilitation skills to share information and foster cross-functional conversations around business opportunities or challenges. Excellent oral and written communications skills.

  • Ability to influence, strong relationship management skills that are both collaborative and consultative.

  • Strong listening and problem-solving skills with an open mind to other perspectives

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex environment and deliver quality outcomes quickly.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAS/SPSS software

This role is WAH/Flex which allows most work to be performed at home. Employees mustbe fully vaccinated if they choose to come onsite.

This position is not eligible to be performed in Colorado.
